The Warmfront Grant Process
If you apply for a Warmfront grant you could be eligible for up to £3,500 towards various home improvements in your home including: A full central heating system for free, a free boiler change, free cavity wall insulation and free loft insulation. Warmfront is a UK Government incentive that aims to help the more vunerable homeowners, those on income related benefits or are over a certain age. If you have had some work done previously under Warmfront you may not have the full £3,500 left in your pot, although it is likely you would be able to have some further home improvements carried out such as cavity wall insulation!
The UK Government wants to raise the standard of living for some of the more vunerable homeowners and reduce our carbon footprint. As a Country we release a lot of carbon emissions into the environment which damages the O-Zone layer and enhances the green-house effect.
